Art Matters presents Space and Being, an exhibition curated by Devon Behelak at Art Mur Gallery (5826 rue St-Hubert) from March 10-15, vernissage on Thursday, March 12th, from 5:00PM – 8:00PM. This collection of various portraits in photography and painting offers a look inside the multifarious relationships between place, people and urban settings.
Through different approaches, this group of artists attacks the construction of one’s identity through lifestyle representations and the placement of one’s self in contemporary society. Works range from Jenny Schade’s brooding oils, immersed in themes of identity distortion, to Jon Woods’ photographic playful antics of characterizing the self fantastically, to Sean Orena’s reflections of the everyday, evoking the complexities found within the most simple of moments, documenting a youthful generation of city dwellers.
The show runs from March 10 -15, vernissage will be held on Thursday March 12th, from 5pm to 8pm at the Art Mur Gallery, 5826 rue St-Hubert.

Nomadic Massive will be launching their 2nd album on march 28th, this is a not-to-be-missed event! Secret GRC information leaks have indicated that they will be pulling off an awesome concept show, But thats all the info we got for now. Codes are being cracked, but the only real way to find out will be to shuffle along to our shop, snatch some tickets and prepare yourself for the preformance of the year!

Notre prochaine expo se tiendra Vendredi le 13 Mars. On présente une selection de toiles de Henry Buszard. Son appproche mixte de peinture et photographie est une étude inorthodox de notre environnement urbain et naturel, ces pieces ont un certain calme et approche "nature morte" de notre entourage, souvent negligé.
Our next expo will be Friday March 13 and will feature selected work from artist Henry Buszrd. His mix-method of photography and painting is an unorthodox approach to the themes of our natural and urban environment. His paintings have a certain calm assertivness and "nature morte" feel to the treatment of our, oft neglected, entourage.
André has just recently collaborated with Belvedere Vodka, and now he's teaming up with world-famous KRink. The Crystal Pharaoh did the vid displaying Mr.A killing his hotel's bathroom with a krink k-6o mop on the release night of the vodka.
We got the k-60, k-63, k-42, k-70 and 4oz KRink markers here at sub-v, and we just stocked a bunch of NEW colors!
Recement l'artiste francais André a collaboré avec la vodka Belvedere, et maintenant il joint ses forces avec la celebre KRink. Pour la soirée du lancement de la vodka, ce cher Mr.A a bien massacrer ca chambre d'hotel a coup de KRink k-60.
